Kerry: July 2011 Archives
July 30th is a fifth Saturday. This means it is Marlborough Junior Woman's Club volunteer day at Furnishing Options! www.furnishingoptions.org
The store at 66 Mechanic Street in Marlborough is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Stop by if you can and bring friends or family. Volunteer tasks may include sorting and bagging linens, sorting and stocking home good donations, helping customers and donors move furniture into or out of their vehicles, cleaning furniture, or escorting customers through the store.
There is a sign up on the MJWC website. See you on Sat July 30th!
Have you enjoyed the lovely flowers on Union Common? Juniors, your help is needed to water and weed our adopt-a-space plot. Please contact Janice with the days you can help out.
A special thank you to Trombetta's for helping us with the plants and to the Hynes family for donating the mulch, urn and sweat equity!
Can you help process produce to help the Veteran's Shelter in Worcester?
Join the Juniors on Saturday July 9th as we help the community. We will join volunteers for Grace Baptist Church's Second Saturday project. Volunteer activities start at 9 a.m. and end by noon at the latest. Projects might include painting, cooking for soup kitchens, cleaning toys or classrooms, moving furniture, hanging curtains, mowing lawns, making cards, knitting, etc.
