The Marlborough Juniors have been participating in the Marlborough High School's Reality Fair for several years, however volunteers are still needed.

The Reality Fair is a learning experience for students "to give them a taste of financial reality as they begin their preparation for their post-high school lives." Volunteers help give the seniors the experience of budgeting a paycheck. Volunteers represent themselves in their business, and interact with the students who learn how to negotiate the world of auto dealers, insurance agents, real estate agents, at a grocery store, etc.

Current needs include someone to represent a furniture store and a clothing store. The Reality Fair is scheduled for November 15th from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Marlborough High School. Potential volunteers should contact pthorsen@cucenter.org.
