Is your cancer charity using your money wisely?

Time has a great article on the proliferation of charities purporting to raise money for research to fight cancer, and how too many of them don't use their funds effectively. Make sure you aren't just throwing your money away. To check on a charities visit www.charitynavigator.org and www.guidestar.org.

The article also mentions several well known cancer charities that deliver more research bang for the buck: Mulitple Myeloma Research Foundation, CureSearch for Children's Cancer, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
