American Sewing Guild

Our local chapter of the American Sewing Guild hosted a hands-on workshop called Learn to Sew last night at the library. It was a lot of fun! Members of this group meet monthly at a Marlborough Fire Station to share expertise and work on service projects. Sewers vary in their skill levels and in their interests. Some are into quilting, some into making handbags, some make doll clothes, etc. Recent service projects include caps for cancer patients, pillowcases for kids at the Ronald McDonald house, drawstring bags for soldiers, and more! If you are interested in participating or learning more, visit www.asg.org or email boston@asg.org to get the contact information for the local group.
